The Auto Body Industry is controlled by Insurance Companies. Insurance Companies pay the same
Labor rate and Paint Material price for a vehicle collision repair and
refinish, whether or not
it is a Chevy Pickup Truck, BMW, Porsche, Mercedes Benz or Ferrari.
In the State Florida Auto Body Technicians work on an hourly "flat rate" base job. That
Technician gets the same "per hour" rate on every vehicle, no matter
what kind it is. All the other Shops pay their technicians based on the number of hours produced per week,
regardless of the quality of work or vehicle.
In our shop, the technician gets their pay by producing quality work for
being specialized in exotic motorcars.
Most technicians who work on an average vehicle, produces more weekly than the technician who works on a high end
cars in an average shop. Because that technician with the high end car must deliver quality work. A
customer with an exotic car expects
"nothing less" then quality! That "is" our Body Shops main focus.
Most Body Shops may not be using good products or materials to keep their supplies costs down, because
Insurance Companies won’t cover them. Our Body Shop uses well-known
STANDOX and
PPG (EURO PAINT REFINISH) and 3M prepping material that has
a lifetime warranty. STANDOX is used by BMW, Porsche, Audi,
Volkswagen, Mercedes Benz and PPG Paint is a OEM paint system for Lamborghini,
Ferrari, Aston Martin, Bentley, Maserati and many more European and Asian Car Manufactures.
A shop recommended by an Insurance Company works only under that
particular Insurance Company’s guidelines and preset labor rates
less then an independent repair shop. This may not be in the best
interest of the customer. These shops with a large over head, can't afford to use quality
products nor the high pay for good workmanship in today's economy. We are
a small independent Auto Body and Collision
Repair Shop with the primary focus
of having the best interest of our customers and writing estimates within the Florida State Statutes ss-559.916. And work only within the
guidelines of the Florida State Automotive Repair Act.
Some Insurance Companies saying they would warranty the work on the vehicle if you take your car to
their recommended (DRP) shop. But, keep one thing in your mind, it
is nothing but persuasion to get your vehicle into a shop! Where your vehicle
will be repaired with used or
aftermarket parts. Because these shops are in contract with Insurance
Companies. And saving them Millions by using low quality parts and
material. It
is a clear volition of Florida State Automotive Repair Act.
